I can't believe something irked you HR

Good to read to ventured out yesterday to watch a game.I too ventured out to watch Didcot v Ware in the play off final where I was joined by another rebel fan. I started talking to the chap to my left who asked me who i followed, Slough i replied and asked him who he followed, the answer came back Hungerford. He then went on about how the owner had gone to Gloucester and had no idea what was happening to the club, he was not a happy chap.

Didcot won 1-0 infront of 1,938 and playing for Ware was our centre half from earlier in the season Matt Hall who was lucky to stay on the pitch when he prevented an attack by punching the ball about 3/4 foot above his head.

The pitch was a total disgrace and those who went to Kettering for the play off final will remember what that pitch was like, well i might even say that was worse than that. The match wasn't a classic but Didcot ran out worthy winners.

It does amaze me where all these fans suddenly appear from! Nearly 2,000 and I bet Didcot don’t average even a tenth of that! You would hope the fact they’ve won some of that extra support will become regulars.

Sorry everyone, but I've just spent a long time  once again typing  out my long post from yesterday and it still won't send.

I just want to check a few things on here, so just ignore this post.

" ( ) ,.           " ?

Why the F does every other post transmit ok but not the other one ?

Bloody computers.

Does seem strange that you can send all other posts.

Silly question but when you click on 'reply to this topic' does the 'submit reply' come up?

RR, I've tried to put it under a new topic article, I've tried to put in under the "couple of non-league snippets" topic, and everything goes fine until I press the "Submit Topic " or "Submit Reply" button and the page turns to a screen saying " Internal Server Error".   Every sodding time.

But doesn't when you reply to other posts? 😵

Dammit, just tried to reply to your post HR and it came up as an internal server error wiping out my post 😒

I can laugh about it now RR.

I wasn't laughing at the time I can assure you !

If my wife had a swear jar she would have collected enough penalty fines from my bad language to be able to  afford to go away on a foreign holiday.

Probably not but I did wonder if it's anything do with the new person/people running the forum.

Anyone seen what Cheshunt are doing for the forthcoming season??!! Inviting players for a trial but there's a catch..... you have to fill out an application form and pay £30 🤦‍♂️🤣

Is that a bit like 'Please send £20 for my cousins, sisters, boyfriend's mum in Nigeria' 😂

It's getting pelters on twitter.

Is this a first for non league?

Certainly a new one for me, never known a club to charge for it.

Eastbourne Borough have sold the football club and its assets to an external investor.

They hope to complete the deal by the end of May.

This seems an odd move for a community interest company although reportedly agreed by an EGM.

In these testing times clubs are looking at every way of raising more income to compete.

Weymouth are flogging off more shares to compete next season rather than scramble around the bottom of the table fighting off relegation.
