A few more yes but I'm sure nothing of any note.

I don't remember but what sort of increase did SYCOB get on their attendances when they won the treble under Jamie Jarvis?

I don't think attendances were much better under Jamie Jarvis.

Given the cost of living and Beaconsfield's proximity to the M40, having High Wycombe[Wycombe Wanderers] up the road and being accessible to Slough and Uxbridge and Beaconsfield areas you would think with greater publicity and say a name non league manager/or ex professional manager, if they offered a fair ticket admission and a few other tempters, they would be able to drum up more support than they currently do ....... but I suppose you could say that about a lot of non league clubs around and about !

If they do end up there, I’ll be attending when Slough aren’t at home to support them, it’s the least I can do seeing as the club did nothing to give them a fitting send off!

What if Slough get relegated.

Bakes and Unders go to Beaconsfield, their Chairman backs them for a few quid and they start recruiting to challenge for the title/ play offs, and ex Slough players start turning out for Beaconsfield. That might get a few more on the gate !

They could sign Roanldo, Messi, Haaland and Mbappe and they still wouldn't get more than 125 there. Bear in mind, earlier in the season, the produced 3 match reports in a row at home with the attendance declared as 131 exactly. They aren't a well supported side (like Burnham) and for whatever reason seem to struggle regardless (I acceot the odd game with better away support).

I doubt the attendances will matter too much though as I'm sure the chairman puts in the money regardless. It also sounds like if Neil and Jon go there, that might get a few more in attendance from Slough.

They can't even be bothered to tell us anything about the takeover, so expecting to do something for the fans to say thank you to the most loyal managers this club has had for decades just shows the contempt they have for the fans.

As I said before, the new set up will be judged on its actions, so far they have zero points on the board and the longer this farce goes on the more it will alienate fans.

In any case they are only interested in promoting the Academy and making money from that. The first team will just be a showroom for the Academy to sell on the kids. After all A23 is a business - profit will come first.

We‘ll assume you didn’t read the statement on the 12th Feb then https://www.sloughtownfc.net/article/2911/Club-statement:-Update-on-ownership

A Beaconsfield supporter tweeted they only got a gate of 95 yesterday

And that figure included the players, management, their families, officials and complimentary tickets!!!

But on a serious note unless their chairman owns the ground/land I just don’t get the reason why they’d invest in a club with no obvious potential. Would they even get 200 home fans if they were top of their league?

There was a rumour that he wanted to invest in our club Slough but was turned down in preference for A23. How true that is, I haven't a clue?

B&U just confirmed as new managers at Beaconsfield. Wish them all the best (unless they play us!).

My best wishes goes out to them, too. Seems incredible that they are there now [after all they did for our club] but whatever, things move on.

On the plus side, now I have a familiar alternative venue to watch footy !

A very good appointment for Beaconsfield as we all know. Look forward too seeing a game there as soon as the schedule allows. Heck of a start travelling wise, next 6 games include - away at Tiverton, Weston-Super-Mare, Dorcester and Winchester, Weston and Dorcester both Tuesday nights!

Tiverton apart familiar rivals from days of old.

Be a bit like back to the future 😂
