Still don’t get why the owner is throwing money at a club that doesn’t appear to have any growth or real potential. Can only think he’s an actual fan or is that rich he really doesn’t care! The club will never grow if they don’t embrace social media and communication. In any case at least let your small fan base know who’s signing!

There are a lot of owners like the Hanworth Villa one at this level of football!

Gary McCann has left Hampton & Richmond. That’s a local one...

Bakes and Unders to the rescue?

You would expect them to be interested in this one and I’m sure the club would have them on their shortlist. They certainly would be working with a much bigger budget which is what they wanted.

Certainly the 'dynamic duo' are mentioned a lot for the job on the Hampton forum.

Did they want a 'bigger budget' or just the same one they started the season with?

At this moment in time I don't think anyone knows for certain.

There were 1,082 at The Beveree Stadium for the goalless draw against Worthing on New Year's Day.

Dover have mutually parted company with manager Andy Hessenthaler.

Although that was so Andy Hessenthaler could be appointed Head of Recruitment for Gillingham FC on 5th January.

"League Two strugglers Gillingham have appointed Kenny Jackett as director of football and ex-player and manager Andy Hessenthaler as head of recruitment. A club statement said he and Jackett will "work closely with the board of directors and manager Neil Harris"."

Saturday's FA Cup 3rd round tie at home to Leicester City is an all-ticket sell out in addition to being broadcast LIVE on BBC1 from 12.15 prior to the 12.30 kick-off. I will be watching.

My first ever football match was Gillingham 1  Northampton Town  2  on 9th February 1957 in Football League Division 3 South played at Saturday's venue Priestfield Stadium.

Interesting that theyre taking over at Gloucester next season

Better crowds and more potential than Hungerford, so for me I can see why they are doing it.

Although they say in their Hungerford statement that they will be in charge till the end of the season there's  an extensive "meet the new chairman" statement on the Gloucester City  site

According to the Hampton forum Bakes and Unders were spotted at the Hemel v Hampton match today.

Also on another post, a Bracknell football scout is quoted as saying that our former managers want the Hampton and Richmond FC job.

It will be truly bizarre, if they get appointed and Slough are vying with Hampton to stay in this division !

You can understand why they’d be interested being fairly local and with a larger budget. Although looking at their forum there’s isn’t much support for their appointment.
