Big step up for Bowerman.

From being a regular starter for Bracknell it'll be interesting to see how much game time he gets.

Seb will end up being a regular for them, he is a very good player, we have tried over the last 18 months to get him, however we never had the money needed to buy him out of his contract, as he had signed an option.

If he had not been on an option this summer, I am pretty sure we would have managed to get him in the door.

Good to hear we were in for him although I suspect his wages were pretty good at Bracknell. I’m surprised it took this long for him to leave for a bigger/higher step club as he’s been a wanted man for many years. Still a big step up from a few months of step 3 to a mostly professional league, be interesting to see how he gets on. Hopefully for us not too well and we sign him in a few months!

It seems Binfield FC are not very happy about their managers leaving for Bracknell.

Binfield are a very forward thinking club and I'm sure they will be fine in the long run. Shame for them as they are really going places this season with the FA Cup run thus far and a decent start in the league. Will be interesting to see who takes over full time after the return of Rodger Herridge in a caretaker role.

Not sure why.

It's a step up if they want to progress in a managerial career.

Sadly very little loyalty given to clubs these days, Managers and Players move on quite quickly. Glad to say this has not happened at Slough for a while.

Not sure that's fair SR. Can't expect a player (any player but especially one that wanted to give footie ago) to turn down the opportunity to go to a prem side (B Team but in the set up).  Fair play to the lad taking that step.

Haven't made it to Binfield yet this season, but not too many will be good enough to ju.p to Step 3 and challenge at the top as Bracknell want to do. Maybe a few might look move on with a new manager coming in as they always do, but I'd expect the vast majority to stay.

Lets hope he stays at Binfield for a decent period of time.

His last appointment as manager of Bedfont and Feltham in 2017 lasted about 3 months.
