Tom Donati who joined as assistant manager in February also goes 'by mutual consent'

Dulwich Hamlet have appointed Paul Barnes as Head Coach  recently manager of Redhill and probably known to our lads from his time at Guildford

It does say 'interim' head coach on the Dulwich Twitter page.

I thought there was a good chance it would be Bobby Wilkinson but I sure he would have been named by now if it was.

After losing 4-1 and slipping into the bottom 4 perhaps a return to Hungerford might be on the cards for Wilkinson?

As far as I am aware, I haven't seen any news regarding how long Elliot is going to be out for after his very unfortunate injury on Tuesday night.

Reading up about dislocated shoulder injuries it seems it isn't going to be a quick fix sadly.

I've enjoyed watching us play with both Ben and Elliot  up front, and wonder if  we may now go back to just playing mainly with one sole striker, with Imran on the bench.

I'm hoping for a quick return for Elliot.

Bobby Wilkinson named as new Weymouth boss today.

Doesn’t totally add up for me this appointment. Weymouth have well documented financial issues and have just released a manager who they must have had to pay off. They’ve now employed BW who I’m presuming will be full time and you’d think he wouldn’t have left the Bracknell job (which was also full time!) unless the financial package was better? So how have Weymouth found all this cash to pay off one and sign another? Pretty sure BW will want funds to build his own side. Just doesn’t add up… literally!!!

Does seem strange.

Can only think they've either paid off Oldfield cheaply or for no money at all and Wilkinson has accepted the job knowing there's very little money to bring new players in unless he gets rid of a few first.

Could be but that’s a big risk for BW. It’s quite conceivable that his new club will be playing his old club next season. Obviously Weymouth are a much bigger club than Bracknell and it’s certainly a challenge so maybe he likes that? I wonder where he lives or if he’s relocating nearer to Weymouth as you wouldn’t make a daily trek if you lived around this area.

I think he lives in the Reading area.

As you say surely he wouldn't commute a 5 hour round trip 2 or 3 times a week so I'd guess he could be staying in digs or something similar.

I'm at home watching the Walton and Hersham v. Chatham tie on the BBC red button before leaving  for our match soon. I'm not a fan of the BBC and when they make cock ups as they have done earlier in this games coverage it doesn't improve my opinion of them. Just before kick off they said that Walton's biggest moment in their history was when they got to Wembley in 1973  ( and they showed the goal they scored in the last minute of that match). Both the match commentator AND the on screen details said the match was Walton and Hersham v. SUTTON UTD ! How difficult is it to check these details ?

DEFUND THE BBC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The National League published a statement yesterday on their website ( If one of the computer savvy members could put it on here sadly its only my phone thats smart) which said a deal had been done that all matches not directly on TV could be live streamed once the details are sorted.

I assume that this statement relates solely to league matches in the top division of the National League :-

The Board of the National League is pleased to provide an update on streaming following a meeting of the Board on 15th September.

The current broadcast rights, which includes streaming, are currently held by our broadcast partner BT Sport.

We have been working closely with them over the past few months to secure an agreement whereby non televised matches could be streamed on a League platform, also respecting the need to comply with Article 48 restrictions.

BT Sport have been incredibly supportive in this vision, for which we are extremely grateful. Following Board approval, we will now be progressing matters to contractually cement that position.

After several months of considering the options and appropriate due diligence the Board were presented with a detailed report which, having received proposals from a number of potential partners including market leaders and which also included speaking with organisations who have successful experience in streaming, a series of recommendations were made.

The Board unanimously approved all recommendations and have tasked the Commercial Committee to immediately progress this work, finalise contractual arrangements and confirm timelines. The ambition is to have a fully functioning platform launch in the second half of the season.

This is an exciting project but would not be possible without the co-operation of BT Sport and the support of our key title sponsors Vanarama.

We are excited to move this forward promptly and will give regular updates as to the progress of the project.
