Andy Ballard went off to Oxford City and he played for them in the Conference North.

 

Al Haddow left us for Eastleigh admittedly ten years ago.

 

Derek Asmoah went on to play for Northampton. No not cobblers. He also played in the French league.

 

Marcus Richardson went to Cambridge United.

 

Leigh Rumbold has left us repeatedly to play semi-pro football overseas although difficult to compare standards.

 

Sommers is out in Malaysia although again difficult to compare.

Dorchester who we travel to soon  have announced the transfer to Brighton and Hove Albion ( subject to a medical) of Jonah Ayunga  their star player for  " The largest fee in our history with enhancements subject to performance."

There were a few scouts at our home match against Dorchester who were looking at Ayunga. On that day Hicks and Hollis kept him quiet.

I see that Bromley have sacked their manager Mark Goldberg.

 

He has been at Bromley for 30 years, got them promoted from the Southern Premier and last season got them promoted from the Conference South and this season they sit mid table in the Conference National.

They now have Spencer Weir Daley and Carvalho both from Corby in their starting 11 and both scored today in their 2-0 win at Chippenham.

Egham are flying high in the central league, upto 3rd with games in hand, featuring Reece Yorke, Chris Henry, Callum Webb and Ryan Parsons, they also have a Hassan Suliaman and we had a player of same name- but spelt differently- who played 6 times back in 2007

You've got to give credit to Egham.

 

Probably run on a shoestring but they always have a team that can compete with the bigger teams, certainly been a nemesis for us when we've played them over the years.
