Leatherhead are contesting the decision to reprieve Merthyr.

They say they haven't had any correspondence or notification from the League or FA and the opportunity to consider the option of switching to the Southern Premier to avoid any disruption to other clubs.

Bath City have signed defender Kieran Parselle from Chippenham Town..

Parselle was named in the NLS team of the season.

Hungerford have signed Junaid Bell and Kamaran English both regulars last season with Mark Bartleys Marlow They've  also signed Hendon defender Matt Hall as their rebuild continues.

I would rather have the other Elliot B [ Buchanan] as he is two years younger and scores more goals but Scott Davies would know Elliot Benyon, and Oxford City do have some Slough connections so I suppose it could be possible. He's certainly an experienced player and sounds like he's a good egg/team player. Mmmn, interesting?

George Wells -I'd have him back at Slough in an instant. He isn't as bad defensively as you say he is.Although, I think he likes bombing forward. I think he is likely to get picked up by a title challenging team in our division like Havant but it would be great if he did come back to us. If he doesn't I think Dan Wishart could be among Slough's recruits,as he played for Wealdstone so would know Scott Davies, and last season was at Hemel and would be looking for a club nearby-ish.

I wouldn't be surprised if our new striker was Elliott Benyon.

Well known and well liked by our managers also played at Wealdstone with Jon North and possibly Scott Davies so the connection is there.

Benyon  did tell Oxford C he was leaving at the end of his contract during the close season so  imo he already knew where he was going the Rebels could be a possibility imo The lads may well see him as a catalyst to bring out the best in our younger players  As well as his Boxing Day wonder goal he only scored 4 other league goals.

Yeah but how many did Benyon score??!! Who said our new striker(s) are ‘mystery’? Just surprised it’s taking so long to announce Guy’s return!
