£10k and a return? Or just donation?

Not for me in this World!

Arbour Park is on the Disposalable Assets List SG so it is up for sale!

I'm sure most if not all of the councils assets are on the possible 'disposable assets' list.

So it's all speculation , without any prove?

I believe on one of the other threads (possibly the one about 2022-23 season) there was a link or guide to the list being referred to Rocking, but I believe the council had temporarily taken it down.

No shock at all that a bankrupt council would have its assets for sale, but I would think there would be more attractive places than Arbour Park available for people before they got to us.

SG, it's madness to even consider the purchase of AP.

The figure of £10,000 per person will be a drop in the ocean to what in reality would be required.

RR, although I feel it unlikely that Arbour Park will be put up for sale, IMO it would be madness for Orchard Community Sports Ltd not to consider purchasing it should it be put up for sale. A combination of available grants, mortgage, Supporters Trust and a funding web page with a target could make it feasible.

I might scrape up £10,000 as a donation in the event that the above happened but this was only mentioned in reply to a post of Sir Rebel1965.

You have committed it in writing and that is legally binding.

SG, according to the builders (link here), Arbour Park is valued at £12.3million (as of 2017). Even if the council panic and there's a fire sale, I'm not sure that £10,000 per fan quite cuts it, or that the Supporters Trust has a spare £12million lying around.

You omitted the grants and mortgage from your figures.

Arbour Park is not a colossal stadium by National League South standards. I like both the stadium and it's geographical convenience. It would appear that an eight figure sum is the cost of a suitable stadium in this area these days.

Hi Nathan, that’s the construction value so it would’ve been worth more than that in 2017, add approx 17-23%

Alex Wall has left Havant and Waterlooville FC. Where next for him?

To a club that pays the most.

In all seriousness I think Alex Wall is coming to the end of his career, if not entirely, certainly at a decent level.

Plagued by injuries and used mainly as an impact sub in recent seasons I think the end is nigh ?

But what a good sub to have !

If he only came on for 15 minutes in the latter stages of the game,he could cause havoc in the opposition's box.

I can't see him being Bakes and Unders cup of tea but on grass I would think he will have plenty of suitors that will snap him up. Funny enough it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at Dartford under Alan Dowson but whoever he goes to, I'm sure he won't be short on offers.

Expensive sub!

He won't be short on offers because his reputation goes before him.

Another player to leave Havant FC is the excellent midfielder Godfrey Poku, who has been out with an ACL injury for a lot of last season. He has declared he is fully fit now and ready for a new challenge. Is he Dartford bound with Alan Dowson, or could he be coming to Slough?............to catch the train ! ha ha !

I know you’re joking but any player that leaves probably half the teams in our league won’t be affordable. Wonder how many more days we need to wait until the first signing is announced?
