Got to feel sorry for 'Ricay.

They certainly had the short straw playing Ebbsfleet who needed the win and Welling playing Maidstone who were in party mode.

Not surprised that the two Kent clubs produced a result that helped the one in trouble.

Mark Scott has announced he's  leaving Bracknell after 4 years had an injury a while ago and has been second string since  Says he wants a new challenge before Father Time catches up with him.

Hayes & Yeading v Farnborough was certainly tasty. Game was 1-1 until Amartey got sent off for elbowing on 50mins. Hayes held on until Farnborough won it in the last five minutes and then a mass pitch invasion with some fisticuffs unfortunately.

Now confirmed next seasons new teams in the NLS will be: Weymouth, Dover, Worthing, Cheshunt, Taunton and Farnborough.

Happy with those 6 new teams. Weymouth away hopefully August or September to make a weekend of it. Dover great for a quick trip across the channel. Worthing in the battle of the ‘Rebels’ and a new ground (for me). Cheshunt are a little unknown but must be decent to have got promoted and easy to get to off the M25 (plus another new ground for me). Taunton is in a nice part of the country and again depending on the time of year could be a nice weekend away. Then Farnborough who are just 10 minutes down the road from me and potentially a few ex Rebels to add spice to.

What will be composition of the NLS next season? Three teams leaving and 6 coming in? I'm sure teams will move around the divisions, but how many teams will there be?

There will be 24 teams playing 46 league matches.

So 21 currently - Maidstone United and Play-Offs winner - Billericay Town = 18 + Weymouth, Dover Athletic, Worthing, Cheshunt, Taunton Town and Farnborough = 24

With 24 teams in our division next season, Slough ought to carry a bigger squad. Whether we can afford to is another matter?

The simple answer will be no we can't afford to carry a bigger squad.

Not only that I'm sure our managers have said previously that they like to work with the minimum numbers.

yes but the u 23's need to be used better i hear that most of the u/23 squad that were loaned out came back actually worse than when they went away those used in the slough team need to be used on the pitch and not just warming up the bench, give them a proper experience even if its just the last 5 min, if they cannot hack it then they are not ready

I can't quite believe this comment either. I think that we have built an identity this season and that is a team that gives youth a chance.

Yes, it has come through circumstance but we have had probably double figures in terms of who has turned out for the team. Imran and Alfonso were pretty much front two attacking options by end of season. Our defence has a combined age of 39 (granted not from under 23's) plus we have complimented with the likes of Gabe, Eitel, Joe etc.

Heavy Trucker’s comment sounds like that of someone who hasn’t been to watch the team this season and is just making throw away comments… Wind up merchant!

But did you go to school? I’m reliably informed this is what the kids call ‘bantz’ before you get upset!
