A couple of non league snippets

I was surprised at the HY v Farnborough match last week that there was only 392 there. For a top of the table "grudge" match and not a million miles to travel between the 2, thats a poor attendance by any measure.

Jack Turners Cray Wanderers led their tie with Ebbsfleet  2-0  until the 75th minute Goals in the 75th and 90th minute led to a 2-2 draw and penalties  won 5-3 by Cray!

You have to feel a bit for Binfield today  0-3 down to Truro City at half time  fought back to 2-3 and were awarded a penalty with a few minutes left  Struck the crossbar and stayed out!! Final score  2-3

The NLS had an unexpectedly poor run of results in the FA Trophy 9

 teams were knocked out

Bath,Chelmsford,Chippenham,Concord,Ebbsfleet,Hemel Hempstead,Billericay, Oxford C and Hampton&R.

6 Teams were knocked out by teams from a lower level.

Yes Curtis  He's  often MOM Cray aren't having a good season and he's  much busier than he was with us.

IA : You didn't include Havant & Waterlooville and Welling United!!! That makes 11 NLS clubs knocked out compared to 7 NLN.

Toss up between Dartford or away to Truro.

Mind you Truro currently play at Plymouth Parkway so 1hr 1/2 less to travel.

Not sure how long the Chelmsford manager Robbie Simpson will be in his job.

They were knocked out of the Trophy yesterday by lower league Cheshunt in front of an attendance of 215 which was their lowest ever home attendance in a competitive match.

Hayes & Yeading United supporters told me that Worthing were the best visiting team, including Sutton United,  that they had seen at The SKYex this season after their 0-3 FA Trophy win.

What did Worthing do in the Isthmian League the following Saturday? They lost at home to Cheshunt 1-2!

You could well be correct RR  They haven't won a home game this season and social media unrest is growing.

Speaking of upsets in the Trophy, Chippenham losing at home to Uxbridge must be high on the list.

The Uxbridge line up contained a couple of ex rebels in Victor Osobu and the once highly thought of local striker Anthony Mendy.

On the bench was ex rebel Gurkan Gokmen.

Seems Uxbridge celebrated a bit too hard damaging a door in the process and will be receiving a bill for the damage caused.

Our old friends from York Road  well beaten today 3-0 by  Barnet and in last three!

Some surprising results today in the NLS.

Dorking getting thumped 4-1 at Chippenham.

Dulwich hammering Ebbsfleet 5-2  

Hampton losing at home 1-0 to Hemel and Havant losing 3-1 at home to Bath City.

Should be a couple of interesting post match interviews from Marc White and Paul Doswell.

Eventful game at Farnborough v Merthyr today.

Farbourough were losing 2-0 but eventually won 3-2 with an 93rd minute winner coming from ex rebel Paul Hodges.

The game was marred when fighting broke out in the crowd at the final whistle.

In the other game at the top, U As' lost 2-1 at home to Met Police.

Just looked at the updated league table We are 14th on 21 points  H&W are 6th on 24 points  It's really tight so far this season!

Anyone know the declared attendance re Tonbridge?
