As Glen has said, with the ongoing petrol crisis and rising cost of living some are very likely prioritizing their spending.

BTW what do the mighty Maidstone charge these day's for the high quality of football on offer?

Adults: £15.00
Concessions (65+/students with valid ID): £12.00
Youth (11 to 16 year olds): £7.00
Junior (Under 11): £2.00

Stand seat plus £3.00 on the above prices – subject to availability

James Whatman Way is very conveniently placed for both Maidstone Barracks and Maidstone East railway stations and all bus routes. Both Dartford and Maidstone United are very well supported clubs and as we all know, the top two and only two  undefeated teams in National League South.

£12 sounds a bit steep for pensioners and students.

I think it should be £10 tops.

Seems they had some crowd trouble there too...

Bottles and coins thrown by the young thug element at Maidstone, apparently with their older supporters standing by and doing nothing to stop them.

Seems some Dartford supporters were injured from the flying bottles and coins.

Really stupid segregating supporters behind one goal a couple of feet apart, just asking for trouble.

An astonishngly low crowd of 2,136 yesterday at James Whatman Way for what was a much more even cup tie than the scoreline suggests.

But it frees up the massive National League South match on Saturday 6th November Maidstone United v Slough Town.

Is it on your calendar/in your diary? It's on my calendar!!!

It rained heavily before and during the game according to their Twitterfeed That can't  have helped the gate

Actually their average attendance in the league so far is a bit over 1800  second to Dulwich Hamlet  We are currently 15th on 600

Hayes and Yeadings reward for seeing off Whitehawk in the FA Cup is a trip to Dorking Wanderers  Another shock coming?

H&Y are in very good form, unbeaten in 8 and top of the table with 7 wins and a draw. Dorking have 2 wins and two draws from 6.

Maybe not such a shock if Hayes did win.

It'll probably depend on Dorking having their main two strikers Prior and Rutherford back from injury.

6 games into the season and bottom of the table Billericay have sacked manager Kevin Watson and his assistant Mark Hughes.

1 point from 18  no surprise really

Another team from our league out of the FACup to lower opposition

Eastbourne Borough 0 Horsham1

In the context of being 6 games into a 40 game season I think it is a rash decision.

Having said that we're not privy to the quality of those performances and what goes on behind the scenes at Billericay or any other club.

You mean sack the founder, owner and manager.

Perhaps he should step aside as manager but as you say his ego could be a sticking point.

U 'As fans were in good voice at Dorchester last Saturday with the match report referring to "the joy of the fantastic and very vocal travelling support".

Hopefully, they will have a song or two to sing to Marc White at Meadowbank this Saturday. I would go to the match if I wasn't booked on a train trip to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway.

Ex Rebel Paul Hodges scored a hat-trick as Farnborough beat Gosport 3-1 to remain at the top of the table.

Remain second in the table in fact behind U 'As who have a better goal difference my 9.
