But you have gone over the top with your analysis on DK I think. Can’t recall another player you mentioned so much and such eagerness to sign! Hopefully this topic is now shut with regards to him coming to Slough.

Well, I didn't mean it that way. To be honest, I haven't seen many players in the last two seasons[unlike years past], as I just don't go to the amount of games that I used to. The season before last I had ill health, and this season we have coronavirus!

Not having a great knowledge of the players[under 25] playing non-league at the moment, I happened to mention Dylan Kearney because he was a player I had seen, albeit when he was 20, and I had noticed that he had done relatively well and that he might become available. I wasn't looking to write 'War And Peace' on him but I thought he might be able to do a job for Slough. That was all.

Over the years, GlenSTFC, I have raved on about a number of players, 5 players come to mind straight away Elliot Buchanan, Charlie Mpi, Nathan Poulton, Charlie Strutton and Bradley Wadkins. I wasn't wrong about any of them. I also rated Jermaine Prosper when playing for Aylesbury. He is now doing a great job for Chesham. I liked a centre half at Beaconsfield had about 4 seasons [can't remember his name now] but he did have a season where he played in a higher division, not sure where he is now, so I'm not all hot air, despite what you think of me, GlenSTFC.

Don’t take it too personally though!

Talking of big strikers, the club website records, "Micky (Chatterton) scored the winning goal in the semi-final against Bishop's Stortford at Vicarage Road. He was a burly forward, weighing in at over 14st, with a powerful shot in both feet."

I suppose it depends on what you call being overweight.

As said some players can still perform if a bit rotund but others will struggle.

The striker at Havant last season (can't remember his name) was rather on the large side but still did well for them because they played to his strengths.

Was this Danny Kedwell who is 37 and has since left Havant?

That's him.

He took a lot of stick because of his size and obviously past his best but on his day and playing to his strengths he was more than useful.

Yes  former Gillingham favourite now turning out for Hollands and Blair

Bath City have announced the loan signing of Matt Buse  midfielder from Torquay  who will be available Saturday

Baths manager says he was very impressed at how super fit he is.

Certainly an excellent loan signing for Bath.

He's only going on loan because Torquay are on a fantastic run and top of the NL.

Tonbridge saying both clubs will receive 32500 from one source

It's only a few days since their Chairman was saying they had only managed to keep going due to the government furlough scheme  and expressing his gratitude for the 30000 allocation from the Lottery funds

With the lottery money being received it's a bit like Christmas and New Year wrapped up into one for some of the less supported clubs in the NLS.

Concorde have signed 3 players from Leyton Orient, Carlisle and Wealdstone.

Fat lot of good it did them....
