Dorking have signed Barry Fuller from Gillingham and Wes Fogden from Havant.

Fuller played 38 games for Gillingham in League One last season.

Dorking running with a 24 man squad for next season.

You just beat me too it RR !!!

A large back page article in this weeks Dorking Ad by Marc W., but no mention of total squad size reduction but mention of previous close seasons signings.  Hmm ! Interesting in my view.

There's a squad photo on Twitter so just counted the number of players.

Ex Rebel Joe Grant has signed for Bracknell Town.

This other snippet made me laugh, Chalfont St Peter have signed a combative midfielder by the name of Panayiotis Boxer!  How apt.

H&W boss Paul Doswell is complaining that he's been forced to take actions he really didnt want to take  He says he wanted to retain Wes Fogden but his budget has been cut by almost 30%  and he cant afford to pay his new recruits and retain the highest paid players from  last season

All I can say is the players that have left like Fogden must of been on silly money.

Mr. White's pockets are very deep obviously!

I suppose it's the benefit of having a rich Chairman/owner/manager who's willing to put his hand in his pocket when these good players become available.

The benefit for Dorking is that the owner won't walk away and leave them in the proverbial.

Very true, RR !

I did have a recent text exchange with Marc, but finance is a 'verboten' subject, obviously.

I do know he has some serious 'backers', though.

Went to Bracknell 1 Dorking 2 on Saturday. All the Dorking stars were on show including Wes Fogden. Bracknell once again looked like they were well advanced in their pre-season & were unlucky not to have drawn the game. Matt Briggs came on for Dorking 2nd half & looked a class act, setting up 3/4 chances one of which was the winner.

With the quality of new recruits at Dorking It'll be interesting to see how many games Matt Briggs plays next season.

There's no doubt playing out wide he has pace to burn and is a handful for any full back.

Just a shame it didn't work out when he was looking to join us last season.

Bakes and Unders repay loyalty, so Matt Briggs was never going to be high priority with Warren Harris being our favoured right winger. I think they were right in this regard.

Realistically, we need a player to rival Warren for his place but we shouldn't be looking to replace him, as he is a stalwart/mainstay of our team but I would be on the lookout for a younger, cheaper option/sub option, as an alternative to Warren this season, similar to what Joe Grant offered but better. There might come a time when Warren is no longer at it but it's not yet.

Nothing wrong with healthy competition.

You're right, at this present time it's going to take something special to provide Warren with some competition.

Having said that on initial viewings we might just have found a player who will do just that.

Dorking manager Marc White has had another bash at the authorities after their 2-0 over Leatherhead in front of 600 supporters.

They are playing Potters Bar at home this Saturday and will lose 3k to 5k because of what he calls a 'scandalous decision' by the authorities to still not allow supporters in.
