Yes, he sounds all very pro football and spouts all the right rhetoric about progressing the club but as we know once these businessmen get their grubby mitts on a clubs assets ........

We’ve had some good conversations with Aaron but there is also a possibility of an opportunity at a higher level for him so we have to see what happens there.

He looked very good when he returned to training recently for the playoff game and he is absolutely someone we would want to sign but we will need to be a little patient with this one.

Paul Doswell (H&W) has announced that 7 members of his squad have been asked to find another club

He says he his looking for keener younger players and has a number hes looking at but not in hurry to make signings

Apart from having to leave 8 players out of their match day squad (injuries apart) they must have a rather large wage bill.   

 

Even though they can obviously afford it, there’s just no need for such a large squad. Ultimately you’re not going to be able to keep 13 players happy and you’re just wasting money on players who will play next to no part. Why not trim 5 players off that squad and have the cash to buy another top higher level player... ?
