A couple of non league snippets

Was impressed with him when he was with us before and given the managers record on recruitment of the right sort of player, this looks a no brainier. As we enter the business end of the season and with our style of play all about tight margins. If he can get just a couple of goals that we would not otherwise score could be the difference of finishing 4 or 5 league places. Exciting Times !

I think the time feels right for Paul Hodges to sign for Slough, than the last time around. Definitely a boost to our chances of success this season.

With him and Dan Roberts in the same team, they should provide plenty of openings in and around the penalty area but my only concern is with both in the team, they are very much wilo of the wisp types and while their movement is excellent, they both can be muscled out by strong wily defenders. Still, both have proven to have something about their game, so from an entertaining point of view I'm looking forward to seeing them both in action [once the 6 nations Rugby is over!].

Don't forget the midweek County Cup match 3spiritSLOUGH TOWN v Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday 10th. March. Your next National League South match should be Concord Rangers on Saturday 25th. March but I won't see you then as I am at
FCUoM v Stalybridge Celtic on that day.

Finances are tight for me currently, so County cup matches and such like have fallen by the wayside but I like the bread and butter of league games best [even better than the FA Cup unless of course, we drew a really big club] so SG, you're right I'm targeting the Concord home match. Enjoy Manchester,SG, and the inns ! [plenty of historic/good beer ones up there, by all accounts].

Havant were leading 1-0 and just before half time Ayunga their goal scorer came off injured, and then on 52 minutes Kedwell got a red card for a coming together with a St Albans player, and then St Albans came back to win 2-1.

They seem to be picking up a few reds lately, wasn’t there one against Dulwich & another against Weymouth recently?
