Surprised to see Tom Moran has joined Thatcham in the Hellenic League.

 

Thought he would have looked to join a Central league club,although Thatcham look to be assembling a team to challenge for honours,does still seem a strange move to me but perhaps Bakes can tell us more about the situation?

 

One player who has rejuvenated his playing career by playing lower with Flackwell Heath, is Danny Burnell.

Unsurprisingly,he seems to be training currently with Steve Bateman's Aylesbury.

Toms job changed in February this year, which meant the travelling was going to be a lot harder for him, and he had to miss a few games for us because of it, having spoken to him in the summer it was always going to be a struggle for him anyway to stay at our level, and that is why he has decided to drop down, as less commitment needed, however I am sure once he settles he will be back playing step 3/4 football in years to come.

 

Lovely lad, and have not got a bad word to say about him.

In terms of George he has been doing pre season with Winchester City as it is on his doorstep, at this present time he is undecided what to do in terms of next season... we have put no pressure on him and he will make a decision over the next week or so.

I think we all hope George stays with us but he has to do what's right for him in terms of how much game time he wants and thinks he will get if he stays with us.

It looks like Jake's trip to Malaysia has been a success, from his Facebook update.

He's got a contract offer from one of the top teams out there and could be playing professionally.
