Woking manager Alan Dowson wants to get rid of 5/6 players after their 6-2 hammering by Sutton.

Being part-time I'm not sure what he expects for their first season in the NL.

Just watched his interview after the 6-2 drubbing by Sutton and he certainly wasn't a happy bunny with some of his players.Obviously feeling the pressure.

In the 6 players that are being talked about on the Woking forum, there's one or two that might be on Slough's radar. We're currently in a nice position to other years,in that we have no immediate rush to sign anyone but one of these might be a tempting prospect going into the new year.

Glen Mea culpa So sorry for that cock up  The last 5 results are accurate though W0 D 1 L 4  so a good time for us to meet Billericay imo and take the last unbeaten at home record

Looks like Dartford are making real push for the play-offs have strengthened their squad with the signing of defender Nick Arnold from Wealdstone.

We've got to play them at home on the 18th January. Must say I'm looking forward to that game. Steve King has turned their fortunes around and after an initial period of indifference when he first joined them, now they are climbing the table and are up to 7th.

They are on a real run of form and probably the worst time in the season to play them.

Adrian, Billericays home record this season is up their with the best having only lost one and that was in the trophy.

Given our squad situation with illness, availability and injury not sure why it's a good time to play them.

The new manager at Dagenham is Daryl McMahon (ex Ebbsfleet & Macclesfield)...... James Dobson selected in the squad but doesn’t get any minutes in 0-0 draw with Torquay.

Not quite he did get named in the squad but didn't appear Sam Deering took his place

RR  Its about what's going on now not history  They havent won a home league game since August  They have played less home games due to their poor  pitch Their recent league record is as I've  said P5 W0 D1 L 4  We had an emphatic win at Arbour Park against them They are well of form at present We shouldn't go there feeling 2nd best imo

They had a good home run in the other cups : FA Cup 21/9 1-0 v Basildon United; 5/10 4-2 v Bath City and 22/10 5-2 v Sutton United. Essex Senior Cup 29/10 3-2 v Southend United.
Whether 11/1 is a good time or not for Rebels to play them away ... just look at the other clubs due to visit Blunts Wall Road soon :-
7/1 Wealdstone; 28/1 Havant & Waterlooville; 1/2 My pre-season title favourite Maidstone United; 15/2 Dartford. Rebels are at home to Havant & Waterlooville on that afternoon!!! Time to review the table again on that evening.

Adrian, nobody is suggesting we should be going there feeling 2nd best and I'm pretty sure our players won't be.

Not sure they are well out of form. With 3 new players in their ranks they've pushed a very much in form Bath team all the way yesterday.

The facts remain that they are unbeaten at home in the league this season, play on a pitch that's probably better suited to rugby and at present we are not in exactly the best of shape.

Of course the real positive is that when our backs are against the wall we tend to produce our best football.

BTW everything you've quoted is history.

RR Consult a dictionary  Recent and current events are not history. We will have to agree to differ. You have suggested that this isn't a good time to play them  Please tell me when is. My opinion is of course qualified by us having a fit squad to choose from

Any idea what happened in the few minutes between James Dobson being named in the squad & being replaced by Sam Deering?

Was it just a mistake, or did he fail a fitness test?

'past events'

I'm not suggesting it's a good or bad time to to play them just trying to give a 'balanced view' rather than one sided.

Seems 4 loan players went back to their clubs which probably meant Dobbo went up the pecking order.

Sam Deering is coming back from an injury and seemingly passed a late fitness test and replaced Dobbo on the bench.

New manager, new ideas, so Dobbo should still get looked over/a look in but whether he makes it, is still very much 'up in the air'.

Being ex Macclesfield and Ebbsfleet I would imagine Daryl McMahon will have plenty of player contacts.

As you say Dobbo's future at Dagenham must be in the balance, still I'm sure his agents will be doing their best to secure his next move.
