It's not about being "PC nowadays" when it comes to the word you used to describe the Bognor keeper.  It's a pejorative term with an exceedingly unsavoury history and I'm shocked at its use in this forum.

I've  no problem with you having an opinion different to mine and I agree that's it a word that can be used pejoratively depending on the words that surround it but  my use was of the word alone .

Seems rather strange that despite 5 losses and one win for Dagenham in their last 6 games James Dobson still cannot command a starting place in the side.

Bracknell Town beaten 6-1 at home by Ware today. After starting season as one of the title favourites they are now half way down the table and 11points behind the leaders.

I heard earlier That the Bracknell Chairman who I assume has been putting a load of money into the club has stood down today.

Yes that’s correct due to health issues. They’ve not performed as well as the club would have expected especially after a big outlay on a new large management team and some high profile players. I wonder if the outgoing chairman will still fund the club or this could be start of a decline?

In the NL Ebbsfleet beat Wrexham 2-1 to send Wrexham to the bottom of the table.

Pre season Wrexham increased their budget by 20% unlike Ebbsfleet who nearly went bust.

Wrexham have promised supporters that in January they will increase their budget to get themselves out of the mess they are in.

It does seem crazy that Wrexham & Chesterfield are in the bottom four when they are both getting average attendances of around 4,000..... you would think they will both throw funds at it in the second half of the season and escape the drop.

If they do we will probably see two from Ebbsfleet, Aldershot, Sutton or Maidenhead coming down.

In fairness Ware are second in the table with the best GD in the league and have a game in hand over leaders Hanwell

The chairman and his wife are the only remaining directors of the club

If I was a supporter I'd be concerned about some very large charges against the ground  shown in the Companies House info

But does the club or the chairman own the ground? I know he had grand plans to build a new stadium as their ground has reached its limit. I’m guessing if he’s standing down the new ground may be off the radar at least in the short term?

Shaun Rowley who provided valuable goalie cover after Mark Scott's neck injury a couple of years back is on the subs bench for  Solihull Moors in tonight's FA Cup TV tie.

Another crazy game last night Fairfield Town v Wootton  Bassett a local derby before half time a bit of handbags after player lost a tussle trying to regain ball for a free kick and then a melay breaks out ref sends Fairfield player off then Bassett player team are not happy ref not happy alsò with reaction and decides to abandon the game.

That "handbags" was a player getting nutted and then stamped on!

I don't know why the referee kept talking to the player in red. He should have sent him off straight away. If anything the official made it worse by dragging the proceedings out.
