Seems a little strange Mills would stay at that level as I'm sure he must have had higher level offers? Can't believe a small club like Didcot would be paying him silly money?

Chesham have signed Barry Hayles as their player/coach and also Brad Wadkins from Steve Bateman's Aylesbury, and Matt Taylor from St Albans.

 

 

Must admit I wouldn't have minded Bradly Wadkins in our midfield. IMO a very good player.

Andy Leese is no mug and I'm sure Brad Wadkins will get even better under his guidance.

 

I'm hoping for a big season from Adam Martin this forthcoming one.If we can get some consistency from him,he will be an asset.

He's better than Wadkins on his day but I do wonder if he still has the hunger to be the major player in our team,as sometimes he looks as though he's just going through the motions.

Still,that's the least of our worries,as we still have injury worries over Searsy and Clurgy and will need to strengthen the centre of midfield again,if these don't come back fit.

As said before this division is getting tougher by the minute with mid table Dunstable still splashing the cash, signing players from Luton, St Albans and St Neots.

I don't think there will be any worries about Clurgy's fitness, it's Searsy, I fear, that we've got to worry about.
