A couple of non league snippets

Next week when we play Havant we come up against our divisions top goal scorer, Jonah Ayunga, on 11 league goals (2 scored at St Albans yesterday).

He was at Sutton United last season, and played against us twice in the FA Cup, not scoring in either match.

Ben Harris moves in to the top 10 division scorers with his 6.... at a remarkable average of a goal every 74 minutes.

Bit of a shock the ever so mighty and play-off contenders Maidstone getting walloped by lowly Hampton  ?

I'm Still recovering from it but it was Hampton & Richmond Borough's fourth consecutive league win.

At 14-1 That's  got to be worth a punt We only have to make the playoffs  then it's a couple of one offs where anything can happen

Winning the play-offs will not give you any return. 14:1 is for winning the title I still have a bet on of £20 @ 50:1!

Braintree have parted company with their manager.

Sounds like Glenn Driver has got another managerial job lined up,as his assistant is leaving, too.

Lee Allinson, Ian's son[manager St Albans City] has got the vacant manager's job at Hendon, after leaving Biggleswade fc.

Danny Bloor, ex Eastbourne player, has been appointed manager for Eastbourne Borough.

Possibly but sometimes when the manager leaves, his assistant, who he probably brought to the club, goes as well.

I can only think that Lee Allinson must live down that way otherwise it's a fair way to go 2/3 times a week.

An assistant leaving along with the manager wouldn’t necessarily mean they have another club lined up. No reason has been given yet but I’m sure it will in due course. Braintree had until recently been on a great run and are only 2 points of a play off place so it’ll suggest something other than results are the reason.

Eastbourne fans on their forum are not happy with the appointment of Danny Bloor.

Seems he was sacked when assistant manager under Jamie Howell but according to their supporters has a few bob and has payed off their debts.
