He's used to playing before over 2,000 at Arbour Park then!

I see now why someone mentioned to me that he didn't understand this comment.

It should have been posted below the next box up ... Billericay Town have signed Darren Oldaker from Gillingham. We might struggle to get another 2,000+ against Billericay Town but it won't be through a lack of everybody at the club putting in a massive effort to maximise the gate.

An interesting story regarding Dorking Wanderers, Meadowbank issued yesterday....

"One stand and, one block will be uncovered to retain visibility towards Box Hill. The other two will be covered.

If approved, a segregation fence and gates will be installed in the north-east corner of the stadium and next to the main, seated stand on the south side. It will be able to host up to 1,350 fans, should one be needed.

Speaking to SurreyLive on Tuesday (October 8), Wanderers boss Marc White said that the application had been put in to meet league standards and to improve fan experience.

He said: "It's a low level stand behind one of the goals to improve experience. There is a lot of flat standing at the ground.

"Most of our crowds are families and sometimes the kids can struggle to see. We wanted to put one in for that reason and also to meet the FA regulation.

"All it is really is an outcome of the success of venue, the club and the crowds and how it's been received. It's been more than we could've imagined.

"We don't have to segregate fans but if we wanted to for whatever reason, we have to have the ability to do so. But we don't expect to have to segregate fans anytime soon."

Steve King unsurprising appointed Dartford manager. Expect lots of ins and outs and some very good players signing for the Darts.

Can only be good news for Dartford.

According to Dartford his remit is to work within their existing budget so he's probably going to have shift some out first.

After joining Billericay in July 2018 with a record of one appearance and one red card Tambeson Eyong has left the club along with ex owners son Archie Tamplin.

Wasn't he the twit who caused aggro at Arbour Park?

He was a very good player for us..... he made 22 appearances & scored 10 goals in about 5 months with us.

Didn’t he move on because of those 22 appearances only about half were starts, and he was looking for regular starts.

He was carrying a long term injury, which seemed to affect Brad mentally, as well as physically. Had we had a fully fit Brad Watkins, he would have been an asset for Slough and could have even been with us now, as he wasn't the one trick pony front man but unfortunately for him and our team, he lacked the belief that he could get over his injury, and so his stint for our team never matched the success he had previously enjoyed for Chesham and Aylesbury. In truth we got Brad Watkins three seasons too late.

When he first got into our team, he initially started well and looked a handful upfront but he just couldn't sustain it because of his hang ups about his injury.Shame but these things happen. For Kings Langley, he should still be a useful squad player to have and for me, worth taking a punt on, especially as Kings Langley aren't exactly flushed with cash.
