3 aren't signed up yet, so the 20 figure isn't watertight.

Which is why I wrote I don’t think we’d keep to that size! So there won’t be anymore coming in until decisions have been made in the 2 trialists plus if Matt is 100% signing or not?

Yes but if Billy Clifford became available to Slough, do you think Bakes and Unders would squander the chance to sign him, when they now know what he brings to their game, in favour of three players they are unsure of?

I think it's more to the point that last season under Bobby Wilkinson Wealdstone were chucking money at players. This season they are still spending money but more sensibly.

Personally I wouldn't be disappointed if Billy Clifford joined Wealdstone or Hemel or any other club at our level.

If a players sole motivation is money then I wouldn't want him at Slough.

It doesn't look likely we will get Billy anyway, so we needn't worry about it.

Bobby Wilkinson was at our match last night, by the way. Doesn't look like he's found a club to manage yet. Perhaps he will get back in when there's the first managerial sacking of the season. Be ironic if it turned out to be Dean Brennan at Wealdstone.

Yeovil Town have taken St Albans City striker David Moyo on trial. The 24 year old is a former Northampton Town and Brackley Town player, who is currently out of contract with the National League South side. They had offered him a new contract, but at this stage their understanding is that he will not be returning to sign it.

For those who like something a bit different our friends at York Rd have a fixture next week on the 16th at 730 against the Kuwait national team

I wouldn't dream of putting money into another clubs coffers when the rebels are playing, especially if it's Maidenhead.

Personally just can’t see any attraction in watching the Kuwaiti National team, they’re probably around the same level as Maidenhead anyway!

Our first league opponents Dorking Wanderers beat Kingstonian 3-2 today including a goal by Elliott Buchanan. His second goal in Dorkings two winning PSFs so far Will be nice to see him again

Buchanan was in the Kingstonian side that we played in 2018/19 pre-season.
