Mis-spelling.

In the Maidenhead Advertiser, it appears Marlow keeper Simon Grant and their centre half Adam Richards are going to be playing in the National League South this season. My guess is it is for Hampton and Richmond fc as they currently need a goalie and centre halves.

Ex Maidenhead midfielder James Mulley has left Enfield fc for Bracknell fc.

In 2007 James Mulley played 2 games for Slough on loan from Yeading.

At 30 he's got plenty of experience and another very good signing for Bracknell.

Was that from memory, RR?  If it was, you've certainly got a better one than I have !

Havant sign Sam Magri & Danny Kedwell who were both at Ebbsfleet last season.... I would think they will make them even stronger favourites for the title.

Could Ebbsfleet be a sinking ship ??

And Andy Drury from Ebbsfleet.

In yesterday's edition of the Non League paper, there's an interview with Paul Doswell and he says that Havant have a very good Conference South budget but a bottom six National League budget. Just goes to show the stark contrast between divisions.

Havant won't get it all their own way this season but they are likely to be fighting it out for promotion.

Least Paul Doswell gave Slough a mention in his article, about recruiting well for this campaign, and last season's victory over Sutton.

After raiding Ebbsfleet for three more quality signings I make Havant hot favourites to walk away with the NLS.

They've now got a great blend of players with NL and NLS experience along with some promising young players.

I think all the other sides in the NLS are now fighting for the remaining play-off places.

With the players Havant have signed I'm pretty sure they are up with Billericay and Hemel as the money bag clubs of the division.

Dulwich Hamlet have signed well and Maidstone can't be wrote off. Last season I was impressed with Chelmsford and although they've lost some good players they seem to have recruited some good ones too, so I'm expecting them to be strong again. Dartford are no mugs too and have signed class.

Weymouth and Dorking have strengthened and will be no pushovers but the one side I'm looking forward to seeing is Braintree as they have a completely new team and a new manager and have a very young inexperienced side and have no money and most of their players have been recruited from step 3,4 and 5. Got no affliation with Braintree whatsoever but this season I will follow their results. Can't see Hungerford or Tonbridge doing much either. Hampton have got money problems, too but I think Gary McCann can keep them out of trouble. I hope so as I like Hampton as a club.

You should be following Concord as well then as they've also recruited most of their players from the lower divisions.

I think you're right that the clubs you've mentioned have signed some good players but IMO not of the experience and quality that Havant have.

Forgot about Concord, and at the other end, Hemel are likely to do well. All shaping up to be an interesting season. Wonder when we will get to hear of this other possible Slough recruit? Hint, hint  - ?

If it comes off I should imagine it'll be after tomorrows first training session.
