Hemel Hempstead have submitted plans for a 3G pitch. The infill is green rather than black and it is said to reduce skin abrasion by 25%.

Interesting news on Gateshead it would seem... look like the transfer of ownership has taken place and that they expect to satisfy the National League, which could potentially mean no reprieve for Aldershot and Truro... think that will still be a while before we know however.

A swift decision is needed in these situations as it’ll completely mess up the affected clubs transfer dealings. Not that I’d be too upset if Aldershot aren’t firing on all cylinders!

The Gateshead debacle will be finally decided at the AGM on the 8th June. 

No offence to Aldershot but obviously we don't want them to be reprieved.

I really don't want Truro in our division and playing old rivals Aldershot again I think will be challenging but interesting.

Besides I'm not sure Aldershot will be a force next season.

Full time Aldershot with home crowds of 2,000+? Sure they could have a slow start due to a large player overhaul similar to Torquay last season but I would still expect them to be at least top 7.

One player we haven't got to worry about playing for Aldershot next season is Scott Rendell as he's been signed by Eastleigh.

Quite enjoyed the trip to Truro (apart from the last few minutes of the game!) Have no ill will against them and think Aldershot will be a tougher proposition.

Some facts have emerged on the Hemel forum about the departure of Jordan Parkes.

Stripped of the captaincy and offered £200 per week and told if they get the players in that they want he probably wouldn't be a starter.

I can see why Parkes left saying he wasn't wanted.

Strong rumour that keeper Laurie Walker will be the next player out the door with Ex Concord keeper Sam Beasant coming in, on less money of course.
