Not saying he'll be playing for us but I'd be very surprised to see Billy Clifford turn out for Billericay next year, but I guess never say never as far as they are concerned.

You could well be right SM but he is on their retained players list and I think he is still on a contract and of course not forgetting one important thing his wages!

Billy Clifford has been (surprisingly) retained by Billericay Town so I guess he won’t be signing for us.

Not surprised at the calibre of signing and no doubt they’ll be a few more of the same ilk. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them challenging for a top 7 place.

The local press implied they would be happy for a league finish of half way or a little further up allowing time to consolidate..  Probably in an interview with Marc White.  I haven't seen Marc for a couple of months.

They’re saying that publicly but I’m sure Marc with the signings lined up would be hoping for top 7. I wonder if their crowds will/can keep up with their on field rise?

He is going from full time football to part time football.... you would expect a reduction in pay.

Well, the fact he lives only around five miles from Meadowbank must save him a lot of travelling expense.

Rumours abound that thare are more signings on the way at Wanderers.

I Watched the FA Vase Final on TV yesterday, Have to say I really enjoyed the game, Very surprised at the good standard of football played for that level. Congrats to Chertsey but it was an even contest that could have gone either way. I don't know who the Ref was but also thought he was excellent.

I was at Wembley amongst the Chertsey support. Agreed an even contest and the refereeing good too. Thought the Trophy final was less enjoyable.

Leyton Orient must have had 20000+ there, dwarfing those from Fylde. This was similar to last season when Bromley had massive support compared to Brackley.

Same result though, the side with the lesser support won 1-0!

No surprise there Bernie.

Ex league team against a side that have had a bit of a meteoric rise up the leagues.

From the reports I’ve read it was approximately 25,000 LO, 5,000 AFCF. In fact Chertsey took more (6,000!) which astonishing considering their average is around 150! That’s like Slough taking 33,000!

To pay off creditors to survive, Gateshead need to raise 95k by Wednesday have so far managed to raise 45k.

Don’t know the full story but it just shows there are too many people out there who shouldn’t be in charge of owning football clubs as they don’t have a clue. All that history down the drain and fans who have supported the club all their lives now have to raise a new club from scratch all because of gross mis management.
