I think their manager has said they didn't reach expectations last season and a clear out was needed.

As for Rhys Murphy,  as you say his contract must have been up so he obviously wants to go onto better things higher up the pyramid.

With the money they save they can probably get 2/3 players in.

Pity they didn't clear out that Chris Whelpdale. Thought he looked a class act in our home match against Chelmsford.

As always location is a major factor when recruiting players.

Whelpdale is a class player but lives in Brentwood Essex.

Haha not really... money can make people travel anywhere! I’m very confident a 3 year full time contract at £1,500 per week with a rented house thrown in may sway every player.

Ebbsfleet are releasing all players with contracts ending on 30th June.... for me the pick of them would probably be Dave Winfield, but at 31 years old he might still look for one last full time contract at a level higher than us.

They’re in a right mess and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were relegated next season. Their investor seems to either run out of money or lost interest. Just shows it’s very rare a club grows and prospers from having money thrown at it.

Bracknell Town have announced their new manager  - Sam Lock, who was at Maidenhead. This has coincided with most of the first team squad announcing their departure, including several ex Rebels. Good luck to him and I hope they stick with a manager after having 24 (ish) managers in the last 3 years. Can’t help thinking they have an egomaniac running the club ?‍♂️

With Bobby Wilkinson leaving Wealdstone, might be time to nab a great goalscorer at this level, David Pratt.

Not sure.

For three parts of the season the Wealdstone supporters thought he was past his sell by date.

Interesting names on the Wealdstone site for their new manager.
