Very good player and as a few have mentioned comes with bundles of experience, however we are fully set up front now, however I am sure he will be a very good signing for someone!

 

Let's hope he's not in our division. :)

I think 31 is fine for a mid-fielder or defender.  Not so sure about a front line striker though.

I wouldn't say no to Nat Jarvis, Drew Roberts or Ashley Sammons!

 

Think you're in cloud cuckoo land,if you think we are going to get one of those three!

I expect you were being tongue in cheek,RR.

 

As everyone knows I'm all for getting a new striker to have four vieing for a place in the starting line-up at the start of the season but to me,the centre back position, is the most important signing,especially in relation to crucial Premier division or above, experience.

 

We need to be realistic in how much we can afford,given that we now play in Premier division and the gates we are getting but I'm sure all Slough fans will appreciate the players that Bakes and Unders have lined up for us,as neither of them seem mugs for spotting talent.

 

Must admit,the wait is infuriating,though,on knowing who we've got. Looks like it's going to be a long summer on this front !!  :rolleyes:

Seems ex Oxford City and Brackley manager, Mike Ford has been appointed as manager at Banbury.Sounds a good move for them.

I think Nat Jarvis would be possible because I'm sure Cirencester are not one of the bigger payers.

 

The only problem is that I think he lives somewhere near Wales.

Seems strange to me given they will be in south & West.......

 

Surely any of his connections will be put off by the travel
