Manager Tony Choules has left Uxbridge fc, Been in charge since 2006.

That's a shock. He had become part of the fixture and fittings. Is it for health reasons or to go to another club?

Apparently Uxbridge want to move forward on and off the pitch,

Top scorer Adrian Clifton has left Maidenhead and has signed for Bromley.

When I read earlier that Maidenhead expected to lose 3 or 4 of their best players this summer then he was going to be one of them. Massive blow to the Magpies as he scored a few goals from midfield and unless they replace him like for like they could really struggle next season especially if another couple of their better players leave too. I guess Bromley is a small step up the ladder.

After all these years of being comfortable where they are.

Trouble is do they have the finances and indeed the support to move forward?

Just read on their website the news of “planned major ground redevelopment at the end of season 2020/21”. Surprised and intrigued to see what they have planned. I would think it’ll be more events facilities rather than football stadium developments as they’ve never attracted decent crowds plus their ground location doesn’t help either. I shall follow with interest...

Their Chairman has a few bob so money won't be a problem to get the right Striker in.

Of course their's always Dave Tarpey if he doesn't go to Woking.

It looks like The Southern League are giving the Berks and Bucks organisers a run for their money as  the most inept group of football administrators.  Their play off semi final between  Kings Lynn and Stratford which was called off last Wednesday has in the last few days been re-arranged to be played on the Friday, then Bank Holiday Monday, then changed again to the Sunday, and is now due to be played today, Saturday. Oh, and the day for the final has also been changed a couple of times as well. Feel sorry for the fans.

James Dobson is one of a number of players transfer-listed by Sutton as they start to reshape their squad under their new manager!

Got to feel for Dobbo to get a dream move only for the manager to leave not that long after. Unfortunately the new manager has been there all along and knows straight away who he wants and doesn’t. Reading their forum no one appears to really rate Dobbo and I wonder if he’d be able to stay at that level or drop back down to ours?

I also wonder that  I've watched the comments also and with a couple of exceptions his performances haven't been highly thought off. Perhaps he will now discover if having an agent  is worthwhile at this level!

I think Maidenhead were one of the clubs interested in signing Dobbo before he choose Sutton United. I wonder if that door is still open or even a door even closer to home?

I love Dobbo but you have to admit that since his departure we haven't exactly struggled have we?
