Chris Flood came off the bench in the 63rd minute and equalised for Salisbury after Chesham took the lead from a Bradley Clayton goal.

Top of the table clash between Hayes and Yeading and Bracknell [Slough Old Boys] went the way of H+Y 1-0 after Matt Day was adjudged to have fouled  Ashley Smith to concede a penalty,which then proved to be the winner.

Duncan Culley has left Hayes and Yeading. Might be worth Slough taking a look at him before the season is out.His goal scoring record is a good one and he seems to be a strong, no nonsense, physical type of striker, which I would have thought would be a plus.

Apparently Duncan Culley had slipped down the pecking order at H&Y and after a meeting with the boss left the club.

Presumably he wanted more game time.

I'm not saying he couldn't do a job for us but if he couldn't hold down a place in Div 1 would he be good enough for our level and the answer to our striker problems for next season?

Jake Robinson not in Billericay's squad yesterday so if any appeal was made it has quite rightly been turned down.

I know he slipped down the pecking order at Hayes but we don't know what Paul Hughes [their manager] tactically wants from his players.

I probably look at it in a different way, in that Culley has played Conference South football in the past, has a good goal scoring record where ever he's played and is a physically strong, 6 ft tall player. It might be that he is past his sell by date for our level but we don't know for definite. I happen to think that we could bring him in for our final 6 league games and if he looks ok,then our pre-season. He won't get full 90 minute league games for us unless he looks a real handful but he would offer something different to what we have. If he isn't up to standard, nothing is lost, as he can go and find his natural level and we can look elsewhere.

For me Dan Roberts looks to have something about him and I would sign him but put him out on loan next season to a team in a higher division than Windsor to see how he cuts the mustard. Francis Amartey looks to have done enough to start with us next season but you have to take into account that he is still young and learning the game. That leaves us with the injured Ben Harris and the ever youthful Manny Williams.  So where's the harm in taking a chance on Duncan Culley?

Can’t sign any players after Friday 22nd March so if he hasn’t signed for anyone he won’t be playing, this is why you’ve seen so many signings this past week

Didn't know that, Rebelade. Does that apply to all divisions in non league?

I thought the transfer deadline date was this coming Thursday i.e. the fourth Thursday in March.

Interesting to see the manager of the Southampton under 18s side that played Spurs under 18s and lost 3 - 1 at Tottenham's new stadium yesterday was ex Slough full back and Manger Paul Hardyman he thought his side where overawed playing in the new stadium.
