Preferably a full time player manager.

As you say it does sound like lunacy when they could spend the money on recruiting players.

While full time manager does sound daft, making the right appointment as manager is key.

Shelling out on players is stupid, if your manager is naff.  A shrewd manager can save a club money.

Bringing in expensive players don't guarantee success. So perhaps Weston Super Mare are thinking pay a good manager to sort out the wheat from the chaff and recruit wisely, to re-estabilish their team.

Why not just hire a decent part time manager and then they’d have money left over for some decent players too? They’d probably have to give this new manager a 2 year contract as who’s going to give up their day job for less? What happens if the new man doesn’t take them up as I’m sure that’ll be his orders. I shall follow with interest...

Agree, you can get just as good a manager part-time, as you can get full time. Football clubs never cease to amaze me,with the amount of money that gets wasted with idiotic decisions but that's the nature of capitalism all over. Perhaps there are loop holes in the tax system about such things. I don't know I'm not an accountant.

K’s are becoming a laughing stock. Just think of what they wasted in wages this season and for what? A near escape from relegation by the looks of it. Would love to know the real reasons for Dean’s resignation but I doubt we’ll hear the truth. Whoever they approach next will be wary and maybe even foolish to take it on!

Congrats to Dobbo for being named in the NLP National League team of the week.

Seems Dobbo has come back with a bang after an indifferent spell.

Yes Dobbo started yesterday and Sutton were soon 0-2 down but he delivered a long pinpoint cross for Sutton's first then scored the equaliser himself Two late goals gave Sutton a 4-2 win More goals than their previous five games
