Torquay v Chelmsford game tonight called off at 6pm!!

That's the second time this fixture has been called off. Torquay have issued a statement saying they tried and failed to get a local ref to inspect it earlier Pics on Chelmsford social media clearly show the pitch is unplayable

Apparently the Torquay pitch is prone to flood quite easily.

Been raining on and off all day and the forecast was for heavy rain before KO and according to their officials no local ref was available to do an early inspection.

Got to feel for the Chelmsford fans who traveled.

The West Country has taken a soaking last few days  Some Chelmsford fans are pissed off since Tiverton  declared their pitch unplayable just after noon  so Chesham and their fan(s) didn't have to travel

Dobbo on the bench for Sutton tonight with Dylan Kearney again not even in their squad.

Yes  Dobbo was called on for the last 18 mins as Sutton lost 2-0 and drop down to ninth

The match was abandoned after 38 minutes due to floodlight failure with the score 0-0.

I think a few years back they had new floodlights installed due to continuous failure.

Sorry to see that happen. Great player and great coach but as a manager it hasn't happened for him. Dorchester haven't had a proper striker for most of the season, which is plain silly. Given Steve's contacts you would have thought he could have rectified the situation better than he has done but I don't know if his hands were tied financially to be able to do that. Just seems bizarre that he wasn't able to get find one until the team was treading water.

Shame as all Rebel fans that know of him, would want him to do well.
