Unfortunately Chesham's game against Basingstoke has been postponed due to snow.

Basingstoke have also signed James Granger who made one appearance for us back in 2017 against Chippenham.

It is/was for two games, now one and we will be at exactly the same number of strikers as we were this week, Ben suspension now finished.

What has happened to Staines Town FC this season? Real shame seeing them lanquishing at the foot of the table in their division. Just goes to show what a good chairman can do for a club. The new incumbents have been a total disaster for Staines FC. Also, if you get it wrong with your managerial appointments, it's always likely that the team will end up on a crash course to nowhere. The Staines Massive won't be happy !

On the Enfield forum, there is a lot of disgruntled fans going on about Andy Leese and wanting him out. To them, his team's football has been dire and their form has been patchy at best. I thought AL would have done better there by now but he has only been at the club,one and a half seasons and to me it does seem premature talking about getting him sacked, when he has had to rebuild the whole squad from scratch. Enfield currently sit in 10th in the table and can still make the play offs, hardly the worst position, when you look at where Staines are. 

None of us want to watch dull football play but sometimes a team needs to develop through difficult times to flourish. I think the Enfield lot, are jumping the gun to give AL the elbow just yet but it seems par for the course for all football clubs in any division now, that managers are let go of, on the slightest of things.  

I wonder what would happen to Slough if Bakes and Unders were to leave for any reason. Not that someone couldn't do as good a job but on the whole, they are going to be a tough act to follow and our team has been blessed having them at the helm. [ Bakes and Unders you can give me that tenner later !! ha ha ha!].

Another team in serious trouble is Kings Lynn  several companies owned by their chairman are insolvent and his hotel business which has been on sale for months has no takers  Their forum is expecting the finances to unravel soon

Hitchin seem to have turned their season around  Beat  league leaders last game and tonight was KLs first defeat in 19.

Seems Hitchin Town manager Mark Burke has recently been trying to sign a striker/s either permanently or on loan but has been unsuccessful mainly due to coming up against a third party involvement i.e. players agents.

He's currently got loanees in from Stevenage and Luton one of whom scored 2 goals last night Maybe he was talking about a specific target?

I didn't check the date of the quote but it could have been made before the loan signings.

Concord Rangers have been deducted 3 points and subsequently drop out of the play offs and to 8th place due to fielding an ineligible player which they’ve admitted to.

Secretary was off sick and they played a player who's loan deal had finished.

I don't know but would or should the manager know when a loan deal for a player has finished?

Yes you’d think the manager would be aware and told this information. Surely if the club secretary wasn’t around, another official would take up that role? I suppose the manager could say it wasn’t his responsibility but this deduction could well be the difference of making or not making the play offs.

Perry Coles played for Egham today on dual registration from Farnborough, no joy for him they lost 0-3.

Seemed a lively game at Woking yesterday with some of the Wealdstone supporters throwing pyrotechnics onto the pitch.

Also with 4 teams playing on it Woking's pitch is looking more like a beach than a football pitch.

Strange how Perry's form has dipped since he left us.

You'd have put your money on him scoring lots of goals when back at Farnborough or any club below our level.
