After just 4 months in charge, Maidstone have sacked Harry Wheeler.

Not really a surprise won just 5 of 19 games and only 3 of those were league games

Maidenhead lose at home to bottom club Braintree and slip into the relegation zone with Ryan Bird on the bench again and only getting about 15 minutes of game time.

Can't really fathom out why Peterborough re-called him.

Former goal machine John Mills has been loaned from Bath City to Midlands league side Westfields for the rest of the season.

Started the game today but didn't get on the score sheet.

He’s really fallen from grace. Top dog at Hereford for a few seasons and no doubt courted by bigger clubs at the time. Now he’s playing at low level for a small club. Makes even worse that his latest club is in the dark shadows of Hereford.

I don't think 'fallen from grace' is the right wording. 'Knocked off his pedestal' would be better. From my angle I think it will do him good to drop down, and get what he does well at, back. He has been unfortunate but it doesn't mean it's the end of Jon Mills as a footballer.

Well he’s gone from God like status at a massive club like Hereford playing in front of 2-3,000 and scoring a silly amount of goals to playing in comparison a village club... I’d say that’s a pretty hefty fall from grace!!!

We must remember that his primary registration is with Bath City he's a loanee at Westfield  because Bath believe they have better than him  The acid test will be if he scores goals for fun If he doesn't then maybe his best days have gone
