James Duncan (ex Slough) & Michael Murray, both recently at Potters Bar have got the job. Good appointment seems to be the consensus from our fans and they'll need to get a fair few players in to sort the mess out.

Michael Murray was a forward who only a few seasons ago played for Uxbridge against us and possibly for Northwood.

Hey 3spirit, Usain Bolt appears to be looking for a club, would he meet your requirements of a big centre-forward?

Curtis

3spirit was.nt at the Welling game must admit have not seem him for a while hope you are Ok Stuart.

Must say they were a tall team thought everytime they put a sub on he was taller than the last one right up Stuart.s street.

My view over the ninety minutes were they as a team better than us not really.

Drama at Wealdstone this afternoon The score at 90 mins was 1-1 a penalty apiece Sutton then had a man redcarded and Wealdstone awarded a second penalty which became their fifth penalty miss of the season From the kickoff Sutton charged upfield and scored the winner!

Just took a look at the video of Taunton's 2-2 draw at Billericay.

Taunton missed a penalty and had a player sent off for what looked like a perfectly good tackle. The 'fouled' Billericay player rolls over few times beating the floor with his fist and then takes a quick look up to see what card the ref has given. Hopefully Taunton finish the job off on Wednesday.

Interesting attendance ,according to the non-league paper at East Thurrock yesterday. 1578.???I think not!

Even the Thurrock web site say's 1578. Had a look at the video and the ground looks empty so probably more like an extra 8 has been added on the end by mistake.

Incredible to lose the game 2-1 to goals in the 90th and 92nd minute after having a man sent off in the 85th minute and now pushes Hungerford into the relegation zone.

Footballwebpages reports 222...... Hungerford 1-0 up on 80 minutes, had a player cautioned in the 80th and sent off in the 84th, and then concede in the 90th & 92nd to lose 2-1.

I wonder how many fans were still there to see those last 2 goals!!

How many were there to see the first goal? lol **tumbleweed**

A quote from the Dartford forum, after their visit to Torquay, to play Truro.

"I would also like to pass comment on the way visiting fans are treated at Stalag Torquay. The stewards were enforcing completely unnecessary segregation "rules" that were bordering on idiotic. They were personally escorting Dartford fans along the pitch one by one as we arrived, into the corner of the main stand. No standing was allowed and despite the freezing cold and the long and arduous journey, no tea bar facilities were provided in our area. They seemed surprised, firstly that we were there at all and secondly that having travelled so far, a cup of coffee might be nice. Eventually they came up with a contingency plan and agreed that anyone wanting a coffee could ask a steward and they would then be escorted around the pitch to a place where they could buy one. I've never seen anything so ridiculous at a football match. One of the stewards told me that they had to enforce these rules because it was a designated ground. Even if that is true, which I doubt, it doesn't make it any less stupid. At a game where the stadium was only about 1% full, anyone with half a brain would have just kept out of the way and let people get on with it. Fans were arriving in good spirits and the odds of any trouble were probably around 10,000 to 1, but nonsense like this just antagonises people and is more likely to CAUSE friction rather than prevent it." Official attendance: 87.

There were around 20 to 30 Truro fans locked in their own section as well.
