Lench on the bench again yesterday with zero game time in Wealdstone's emphatic 3-0 win at Dartford.

Bobby Wikinson is quoted in the non league paper as saying he is trying to build competition for places,as Bradley Bubb also had been left out for a couple of games and went and scored twice yesterday.

The fact that some of the Wealdstone forum have been singing Matt Lench's praises, I wouldn't read too much into Matt's sub appearances.

Bradley Clayton has signed for Chesham.

 

Early days but interesting to note that both Chesham and Hitchin are bottom of their respective leagues with zero points after 3 games.

 

Also Maidenhead currently finding it tough with 1 point after 5 games.

I'd guess that we didn't want to sign him.

 

Any signings have to be better than we've got. Didn't see a lot of him but don't think he was any better than any player in our current squad.

Brad trained with us again last week but we have not offered him anything in terms of a deal as we are happy with the 18 we have currently.

 

Our advice to him was to go and play some senior games which is why he has signed for Chesham and we will keep tabs on him as he clearly has ability.

Bradley played in the 3-1 defeat on Saturday and acquitted himself quite well according to their social media.
