Well with 10 new players announced today they’re certainly having a clear out! I wonder if that’s it or they’re after more? I see Matt Day is one of many released, who would and would not like to see him sign for Slough?

Does carry a bit too much poundage for my liking.

Get him fit and I think he can be an asset because he reads the game well.

I was disappointed that Matt Day wasn't at the play off final but if he was ill, then he was ill.

I agree he's carrying a bit of weight,RR,  who isn't  ha ha !   but from what I've seen of him since his arrival at Slough, I think he would be an asset going into a new division.

He's got a bit of character, not the quickest on the deck but is no mug at tackling, he heads very well and seems to have a good awareness reading the game.

Bearing in mind that football now, isn't just about the first eleven, I would have thought he would be a very good addition to our squad.

The new Chairman at Staines Town hasn't taken long to make some changes.

Drax Hippolite has been replaced by Spanish coach Cristian Colas and already three of their top players have left in top scorer Elliott Buchanan, Max Worsfold and Skipper Tommy Brewer.

Could be a similar situation to Oxford City when they employed a Spanish coach and a lot of Spanish players were signed.
