The relegation battle in the National south is interesting. The final relegated team will either be Poole or Hungerford, both of whom were involved in the play off farce last year.

Hungerford are 1 point ahead of Poole with one game to play.

Poole are at home to Oxford City and Hungerford are away to East Thurrock.

Shows how hard it will be consoildate a position above the relegation places, if Slough get promoted.

That said if we can keep the vast majority of our squad together, and add a couple of players, I think we could do a lot better than that.

Just got to get there first !

Bracknell have one left to play tomorrow, They need to win by 11 goals to be champions. Big ask but could be done. Will depend on attitude of opponents Tuffley Rovers who have nothing to play for.

Not impossible but Tuffley are ninth so a decent team and to put 11 past them I think is nigh on impossible.

Interesting appointment by Woking fc as their new manager, is a young chap called Anthony Limbrick, who has been academy coach at Southampton and West Ham.

He has no managerial experience [but plenty of coaching badges] and will be taking Woking full time.

Woking board want to aim for league football and are pushing the budget up this season with new investment to get to the next level.

What puzzles me is that Gary Hill and coach Steve 'Thommo,' Thompson had they been given higher funds, would have been a lot further up the table this season and may of challenged for honours, yet have been hampered all season by budget cuts.

Risky appointment, if you ask me.

Been scouring the past pages for this.  The Woking board cocked it right up.

Woking look like they are going to be relegated.

Just think Slough could be playing them in the Conference South next season !
