A couple of non league snippets

Let's not !  Just when we get the measure of the quality of the opposition in the Southern Premier, would be a pain to move.

Happened to us before, though, hasn't it. Suppose we would get a number of nearer teams ie less travelling, especially for you,Boh !

If Kettering and Merthyr do join us in the Southern,we're have a harder league than this season !

Brackley could end up in our league, too, and they are no mugs either !

Farnborough look doomed needing at least 3 wins out of the last 4 games.

Dan Bennett is a quality player and would certainly be on my wish list.

Will never happen RR for reasons I will not disclose on here, however he is one that we would never have in our changing room, and would have Wazza a million times over him.

I was talking to someone at St. Neots yesterday, and they think they would most probably be put in the Conference North if they get into the play-offs and go on to win them.

Still a long way to go for some definite situations yet though

Seems Lewis Putman has left Barton Rovers and gone back to Oxhey Jets.Someone's bound to offer him a better deal somewhere else for the new season.

Strange time to leave Barton, though, with them sniffing around the play-offs.

As you say, strange when Barton still have play-off hopes.

Not saying it's definitely the reason but he was taken off after 60 minutes against Royston and sub in their last game against Kettering.

Unless they're offering more money than Braintree (and if he still lives near Maidenhead) plus I doubt they'll be in the promotion race, why would he drop down a division when he's done amazing things at Braintree? The rumour is Ebbsfleet are after him which is a much more attractive proposition.

Alan Devonshire doesn't drive and does live over this neck of the woods,so as the NLP report Maidenhead may be a job of interest to him, although I would be surprised if it does happen,as I would have thought some team with a bigger budget and a higher league would be a more likely destination for him.
