If Berko do win promotion it will be the first time in their history they've played at that level. They do have a serious problem to deal with When they recently renewed their lease they are only given an extension till 2019/2020 as the owners intend to sell for redevelopment

Just been looking at FA Vase finalists Thatcham Town's form figures for the season.

It seems they haven't lost a game since October with 34 wins and 2 draws and season to date in total they have won 48 games drawn 5 and lost 3.

Pretty impressive figures at any level.

Bracknell still on the heels of Thatcham in the Hellenic League after beating Windsor 0 - 1.

That's 13 straight wins well done.

three games left.

Was you there 3spirit to see your favourite Paul Coyne sent off for Windsor.

Not forgetting the ex Slough in the Bracknell team.

No wasn't there,Sdelane but a not a surpise about Coyney. If he didn't have his temperament he could play higher but he always seems to self destruct.

I've never levelled at him that he's a bad footballer but for building team spirit, unity and a winning formula, I don't think he would be a player I would want, if I was a manager.

Mick Woodham [ Windsor manager] on the other hand, may see it differently, as Paul Coyne has vast experience of the non league scene, on his day is a quality centre midfielder and does possess a range of good passing skills and can run the show from midfield.

Windsor probably haven't the pool of players to be fussy.

Paul Coyne, certainly a good player in his day but at 33 well past his sell by date for our level of football IMO.

I never said he was.

He could do a job for a team in the East division but Hellenic more apt, given his age, time out of game, injuries etc.

Talking of division levels, you can see a marked rise in player commitment and how serious football gets, the higher the non-league pyramid you climb.

As a non-league fan, in general, while it's always good to watch the best players, there's also a part of me that likes the aspect of grass roots, amateur football.

I think I will be in the minority, as I don't want Slough to ever be a professional club, and never have.

Over at Wealdstone, sounds like they are spending money like water, if you go by their forum. I understand the notion of buying one or two star players but not to break the bank and land yourself with all manner of debt.

I think Wealdstone are going overboard, with their ambitions at the moment and fans aren't even registering it.

Let's hope this madness doesn't happen at our club in the foreseeable.
