Farnborough who were beaten O-4 by Kings Langley today have now conceded over 100 goals and Spencer Day screamed abuse at supporters in the stand who showed their disgust His latest deluded rant is on the Farnborough home page Its not "small margins" anymore it's "initial balls" cringeworthy interview really and nothing is his fault!

Problem for Farnborough fans is with him having a controlling interest he’s only going to leave on his own terms. The chairman there is more of a figurehead with Spencer running the show. So unless someone offers silly money to buy it off him (which is unlikely) then he’s there for a while I guess.

It is a great Day ;) when Farnborough get stuffed and the best time of the weekend is when Spencer's interview is uploaded. 9+ minutes of him ranting about anything and everything. I'm the Farnborough forum last week there were asking which game Spencer was at as it wasn't their one LOL. Roll on next week and more fun and games.

Very true, Glen.

In Europe in 1939, another person thought he was God.  Unlike a cat that allegedly has nine lives, even HE met his demise at his own hand.

It can only be a matter of time.

Biggleswade Town have no goalkeepers.

All the GK's they have registered are injured and the league won't let them sign any more. They were forced to play with an outfield player in goal against gosport for the entire match.

We play them at some point hopefully soon (weather permitting) so shoot on sight boys.

There midfield Captain who has been at the club a number of years took over in goal.

By all accounts did well.

It is going to be hard for them till the end of season.

Sad to see the demise of Thurrock FC always a shame when an established non league team has to resign from its league They are seeing this season out and will decide what to do then Their ground is for sale and their chairman is very seriously ill I remember the only time we played them about 15 years ago and beat them 1-0 in a cup game but we did play them a dozen or so times in the league when they were known as Purfleet FC

From what I understand of the situation they have permission for floodlights as they already have them.  The issue is they wanted permission for them to be used 7 days a week, whereas they only have permission for use 3 days a week, i.e Tues, Thurs and Sat.  I presume they wanted to make some money back by renting out the pitch on the other days they didnt have a match or weren`t training.

P&TGs application was lost on the chairman's casting vote so an appeal is inevitable If you go to the latest news section of their website you can find the statement delivered to the planning committee It asks for 9 hours use per week during the football season It was lo cal residents who claimed they were after substantially more

It turns out not to be entirely true..... they advised the Southern Premier League the third goalkeeper they had signed was in Poland (he says he has never been to Poland and was in Bedfordshire!!).

I would be surprised if they get permission to sign another goalkeeper, and will probably have to count on one of their other two goalkeepers recovering from injury.
