Very good point for Hornchurch.

Johnny Goddard an unused sub again.

Don't mention Johnny Goddard, or G Brown will accuse you of being disloyal and a spy for Boreham Wood!

You have to remember G Brown is a longtime member of this forum going back to June of this year, and you RR are just a new boy!

It’s always good to have new members & fresh opinions, some of the long time members can sound like stuck records at times!

I'm already considering whether to go to St Albans or Boreham Wood this weekend to see my hero's in action 😅

Sir Rebel, Mr Brown has been on the forum for a number of years under a few guises so is not a newbie.

Touché Friar, I see you still haven’t put your dummy back in following the falling out your Son had with the club some time around COVID 😘

Ex Rebel Dan Roberts has left Bracknell and signed for Hemel under his old manager Bobby Wilkinson.

I think it's fair to say Roberts hasn't as yet made his mark consistently at step 2.

In the "modern" game he might be useful as an "attacking" winger / inside forward but I think he was one of those players that just didn't develop how he should / could have and certainly not as a centre forward.

Bound to score against us though!

Watched Beaconsfield draw 2-2 with Dunstable yesterday. Couple of interesting things from the game. Was Sam Togwells first match in charge and coming on at half time for Dunstable was a certain Ollie Spicer. Looked pretty good and worked really hard for 45 minutes.

Possibly to do with the connection Yella has with Dunstable?

Ollie Spicer has only just turned 18 and the more experience he gets playing senior/mens football the better player he'll be when he eventually returns to Slough.

That was our assumption RR. Looked pretty decent in the half he played, couple of good runs with the ball, 2/3 really good passes and overall one of the better players on show.

So that’s where he is, odd not to be told this? Yes he needs games but he’s already proved to me anyway that he’s good enough to be on our bench. So when we have to name a young goalie instead of Spicer it’s frustrating.

I can only think that getting the maximum game time minutes will be more beneficial to his progress than sitting on our bench.
