I remember Bryan Hammett had the chance to win it at 4-4 but he missed. Can't remember who

Efe Sodje was the one sent off I think. I also seem to remember Macclesfield goalkeeper Ryan Price scoring his penalty and then giving it the biggun to Slough fans behind the goal. I'm also happy to be proved wrong! Sadly I don't think we have a report for the archive so if anyone does, send it across. There are a few videos on YouTube though.

If so, I remember him telling me about him about 18 months ago. Time will tell I guess if he's up to it.

 

Also a belated congratulations on promotion. I watched your team at Godalming a few times and in a way I'm surprised it's taken this long for it to happen for you both. I'm back involved at a club now so didn't get over to watch Slough at all last season, but have always enjoyed the football your teams play and like the honesty with which you both go about your business. These days more than ever there are more channels for supporters to air their view, so it's important for management and players to get the supporters onside and keep them onside, which you clearly do.

 

Once again, really well done and keep up the good work.

The player sent off was that Sodje, the guy who always wore that headband in matches. He was dirty that night and deserved his red.

Yes, Ryan Price was his name, I couldnt remember that, but yes, he loved a wind up and giving it large to the Slough fans.
