Not sure if it is still applicable as it was a while back, but Wimbledon in its original form shared at selhurst park in the premier league. I think the only restriction is that you can't change a ground share in order to gain promotion or avoid relegation.

AFC Wimbledon, would they have been granted entry to the league if they were still 'tennants' to Kingstonian?

I just dont know if the 'Non League Pyramid' (dont care about premier league or football league) have rules that say you must have your own ground if you are allowed entry to the Conference South or Conference National.

Remember, we got demoted for not upgrading the ground at WP, so should we move up the ladder again (whenever that may be), are we going to pay Beaconsfield to add more seats. Investment or money down the drain?

I know, I know, lets get there first, but just forward thinking here... otherwise were just going to stand still as a club.

Gary is correct, you aren't allowed to change grounds/ground share in order to gain promotion. Although it is naturally on the thoughts of supporters, I'm confident that the Chairman is in control of the situation.

OK, so let me get this straight (just so I understand).

As we are currently ground sharing, we cant go up to ( a ) Conference South ( b )  Conference National as it currently stands.

So we finish mid table say this year and arbour vale gets ok, we play another year at sycob. We get promoted the next year and Abour vale is ready, we can't move in to it because of that rule?

I think that would be ok, because your moving from renting to buying (bettering yourself).

I think its if we moved from Beaconsfield and 'continued' to ground shared with lets say Maidenhead (because of better facilities) that wouldnt be allowed.

From what Im reading above....
