Done,just a thought,be nice to see a few more posters who actually live nearby,pledging their support,must carry more weight surely.Get down the polling station Thursday,and drum up a bit of local support.

ITK - do you have another ground you're modelling on at all? Something like South Park maybe? And will the surrounding land house your extensive youth teams? If so that surely lends some weight to the proposal?

There will be enough land for 2 x 9 v 9 pitches but we are certainly not looking to house all of our youth teams as this was a major issue with Farnham Rugby Club and the site previously ie access road and parking. 

 

In terms of modelling the site on another ground, I would say if it is like South Park I would be happy or indeed most other CCL clubs bearing in mind we have nothing at present.

Smudge, a fair point but bearing in mind we have until the 6th of June to get the responses in, I have a campaign strategy which seems to be working at the moment.

 

Most club members, players, youths, managers and parents are yet to be included but they will and a lot of them are more local.

Sounds promising ITK.

Farnham rugby club have a nice set up these days but I'm guessing that is funded by the David Lloyd club down there to some degree.

Let's hope the council get right behind you so you have a base to develop.

I did receive notification from the Council advising of the date.

I am absolutely delighted to confirm that at last night's Planning meeting a unanimous decision was reached to grant us full planning approval.

This is fantastic news for everybody at the club and the hard work starts now in putting together a sustainable ground and facility.

I would once again like to extend my thanks to everybody who took the time to support our application online, it was appreciated.
