Badshot Lea FC Planning Application for permanent home

Recommended Posts

I am writing directly to all forum members to ask for your support.

After the last seven years of a nomadic existence with various groundshare arrangements, and ten years of trying to find a suitable area to develop, I am delighted to announce that Badshot Lea Football Club have finally submitted a planning application to Waverley Borough Council for a football development at Westfield Lane , Wrecclesham, Farnham.

This will undoubtedly secure the future development of the club if the application is successful and will in turn enable us to not only build a sustainable platform but also establish ourselves in the local community.

I would very much hope that you can find the time to go on the Waverley Borough Council Planning Portal and register your support for us.

To post your comments go to:

http://waverweb.waverley.gov.uk/live/wbc/pwl.nsf/(RefNoLU)/WA20140759?

You then need to select the “On-line comment” button.

A template is then opened which needs to be completed and hopefully this will support the proposal.

Enjoy the World Cup and the Summer and I look forward to seeing you next season.

I thank you all in advance of your support

Probably mate i watched at least 3 or 4 of your home games last season,it seems weird that you will be in the prem and Ash in div1 in a way you have unwittingly become the Senior club down there, what happens if they go down another league can you then still share if your ground is still unavailable, just asking cos its a possibility with the records of the previously relegated clubs.

Powelly1

It is at the back of the Wrecclesham FC/CC site, previously occupied by Farnham Rugby Club, who had 3 pitches on it.

Thanks for your support, it is appreciated

This is all good stuff for you but I find it a bit odd when the ground is not in the town/village of name that the club have don't wrecclesham have a football club.

Agreed.Believe me, in the last ten years we have tried everything to get somewhere in the small village of Badshot Lea but to no avail. Ironic that Farnham Rugby Club now reside in Badshot Lea having moved from Wrecclesham.
