Hayes and Yeading have placed an appeal against relegation Oxford City in the North were saved as another team withdrew from the league but H and Y had more points than. Oxford and such were the top team in relation to points of those relegated and thus they are saying they should remain in the conference not Oxford if they are successful who would have to go in the northern league

a tough set of teams  in the ryman league and as always  it will be just as hard  to gain promotion  at  the moment     margate    maidstone     dulwich    tonbridge  kingstonian   bognor  and maybe billericay  with a improving  young squad   will all be up and around the top half of the league ... hornchurch not sure  the team looks like  it will have a few changes  and next season  the home  form will really  have to  be turned around  would be  happy  with a top 8 finish  at the  moment  but wait  and see i suppose  :)

Will also be interesting to see how promoted clubs VCD an Peacehaven fare. .. Both a bit like Shitehawk, plenty of dosh but pi$$ poor gates. ... Peacehaven beat Bognor 3-0 in their county cup final last week. ... Margate have BIG backing from a guy who used to plough fortunes into Wolves, and look to be signing loadsa quality players on big money deals. .. Certainties to win the title ??

It has been shown that you can plough money into a club for players but if they can't play as a team then it's not a forgone conclusion they will win the league

  • 2 weeks later...

Saw this on the Pitcheroo site early yesterday evening Mr ProgEd, but nothing on the official Ryman site as I write. ... Why does this not surprise me ? .... Mind you the Ryman site were quick out of the blocks on 1st April, with the announcement that Herne Bay and Whitstable were amalgamating to become "Whitstable Bay FC" for the coming season..... Titters.
