3spirit
Jamie McClurg's volley [home league game against Rugby] along with the George Short rocket [away league game against Chertsey] must be up there but that crucial 2nd goal against Kettering in the play-off game by Johnny Dyer is my favourite because of the importance of it and the celebration that went with it ! 3spirit
Thought of another two that should be mentioned the classy goal Ed Smith scored against Northwood in the away league match, when he beat two defenders and banged the ball past the keeper and the Scott Harris powerful header, think it was against Dunstable at home? Got a feeling Ed scored a cracker against Rugby in the 4-0 away league game, but only saw that on youtube. In the game where he scored all 4 goals! Ian
This morning in the car, Alfie was singing "McClurg, from the halfway line". That would get my vote.
Mark44
Mcclurg 3rd against Kettering. Don't matter how good it was it was the most important goal in years

Reading Rebel
For actual spectacular goals it's hard to choose between Clurgy's 'from the half-way line' and George's 'rocket of a volley' against Chertsey. For actual importance it has got to be Clurgy's 3rd and winning goal in the play-off final.
