Reading Rebel
Are we going to stay at SYCOB or is there the possibility of re-locating to another ground? Personally, I wouldn't mind going back to Windsor if the terms were right.
RebelVilla
I would assume that if there is to be any change of home ground then a decision and announcement would need to be made quickly before the fixture lists are announced. Personally, I do not believe that Windsor can offer us anything more that Beaconsfield currently offer us. If the rumours are to be believed, Windsor burnt their bridges when wanting to up the price of the groundsharing agreement making us look elsewhere to play our home games. Also, you are assuming that Windsor would want us back!!

3spirit
As Reading Rebel knows,I would prefer to stay at Beaconsfield. Mainly because I prefer the location to Windsor. However,I could see the attraction of Windsor for Bakes and Unders,Steve Easterbrook,Gary STFC and quite a few players,as it would be nearer for them to travel to. My preferred choice is Wexham Park but if we got back in there,we would never get our new ground !

Ian
Not that I think it's on the cards anyway, but a move back to Stag Meadow wouldn't make sense to me. Holloways Park has excellent parking facilities whereas at Windsor it was limited. The pitch at HP is not a good as Windsor's (I've run the line there recently and it's superb) but HP is much better than when we first played there. To put it into context I've also lined and refereed at Burnham recently and their pitch is utterly dreadful. There's also no covering at either end at Windsor and whilst it would be good to have covering at both ends of HP the one they do have is great. Lastly, from a stewarding perspective, the supporters access to the dressing room and officials area at the end of the game is an issue which caused us problems last time we were there. Based on all of that my overwhelming preference would be to stay put. Positive news on Arbour Park would be better still!
