Eastside Urchin
Surprised by that,is a top player but if you've got better then you must be assembling quite a good squad for next season
upthegate
Think we're all surprised by that one. Was head and shoulders above the rest of the team last season. Players and supporters player of the season. Youre right EU, if Bodkin is not good enough for next seasons team then Terry Brown must be assembling one hell of a team. For once, money couldnt have been an issue.

Eastside Urchin
Not too gutted to be honest, suppose it would of been nice to go up but we haven't played well since the turn if the year and I never really thought we would go up
michael
Yep-bodkin most consistent player and will be missed-but not the end of the world, and i am not the slightest bit surprised. probably right move for player and club. 3 good seasons-a year older-what were the chances of him having a 4th really good season-reduced i would have thought. Is the skill in this sometimes knowing when its time to go-be it player o=r manager who decides the timing-ferguson knew when it was right to move players on,kinnear with braithwaite a few years ago maybe player decided this one-but i think the timing is right for everyone's benefit-and as i say-no surprise whatsoever imo I guess that just leaves Beales as 'last man standing' pre-TB hope he re-signs for MargTE- BUT NOT HOLDING MY BREATH if he has not done so yet

DomBlueBoy
Also fantastic news that Charlie Allen has signed for next season- very good player who will play a massive part next season. I'm surprised we managed to get him as thought clubs at a higher level would be interested Jack Sammoutis is the next one we must get signed up. Gringo
Big signing, keeping Charlie! I have never been so upbeat before a new season. The club looks so professional atm, a huge well done to all involved. Its ironic considering how unprofessional our local council is looking at present.
