Speechless and emotional after listening to RebelsRadio. What an incredible comeback. Have to admit, I didn't think it was going to be our day. This team pulled out a monumental performance. Neil and Jon earned their corn at half-time.

Amazing, massive, shattered, stunned, don't believe it!

 

Total rubbish first half where it looked like Kettering were going to stuff us big time by an embarrassing score.

 

Second half totally different, ball on the ground and far better football - somehow we scored 3 and kept them out.

 

There 5 was the best player I have seen in this league this year - should be playing several levels higher.

 

As for the 6 drunk nobs under the cover - they let the other 2000 decent Kettering fans down - poor policing did not help!

I have not felt like this since we beat Bromley to win the league (that is going back) when I was just a kid.

Didn't see any of the goals but that second half was the best forty five I've had as a Slough fan. Congratulations to Bakes and Unders, what a team talk. What a run from the players as well. To get us back in this after December and two massive play off away games. Did it the hard way - legends one and all.

I heard from their game on Wednesday that they were a bit intimidating towards the away teams (not in a banter kind of way).

 

I think they expected to roll us over today and especially must have hurt being 2 up.

 

Glad that most took defeat in a good manner.

What a way to get promotion.The classic game of two halves.First half Slough struggled to put

a pass together and had the strong breeze to deal with.

Kettering looked the better side without doing too much except score!

 

......And then second half,Slough turned on the style and showed what they can do.

Kettering didn't know what had hit them.What a turnaround!

 

Chuffed for Steve Easterbrook,about time his efforts are rewarded.

 

Well done to Bakes and Unders for giving us a team to be proud of and rewarding us,

diehard Slough fans,with a team that never gives up and plays with a large

chunk of panache.
